Well, that all went rather well. It was a resounding success again this year, lots more stalls and more competitions and all manner of good stuff. There was even a record set!! The world record for stretching a curly wurly was absolutely smashed to pieces! We’ll have to wait for an official update from the GWR to confirm. Photos to follow!
Well done all the organisers and we’re already looking forward to 2012!
We are currently working very hard to get the release of v0.6.8 out the door as we discussed a few days ago. This is a very high priority for us as there are issues with 0.6.6 (the currently available release) running on Windows 7. A recent update from Microsoft has changed the way some automation features work and this has had an impact on SampleSort. We have already implemented a fix for this which is included in the v0.6.8 release which will be available on this site hopefully later today!
Well, it’s been a long time coming but we’re just getting ready to send a new version to the beta testers. This version includes a lot of recent feature requests that have been appearing in the JamSoft inbox. keep watching this space for more information over the coming weeks.
Lenssniper has just delivered a selection of photographs commissioned by Lipsmacking Festivals for the pull out directory included in the November issue of The List.
We’re looking forward to tomorrow at Sniper HQ. Lenssniper is making a film about Chocolate!! It’s for the promotion of this years Lipsmacking Festival and principle filming starts tomorrow with a trip to Sherbourne to visit the first Chocolatier being interviewed for the film. The last appointment for tomorrow is with a Chocolate Masseuse, this could prove to be very shrewed planning …
Lenssniper has just been confirmed as one of the official photographers at this years SWN Festival held in the city of Cardiff. The festival is curated by BBCs Huw Stephens. There is a truly insane number of bands playing at a number of venues across the city over the course of 4 days.
Should be a very fun and interesting opportunity to mix with some up and coming bands. You can read more about the festival and view the full line up on the SWN Festival web site.
Have just been informed that the images I supplied for Fiona Stewart have been published on the Bevan Foundation blog. You can read up on it here. You can find out more about the Bevan Foundation here.
You can read the a write up by Jon himself here.
We have just finished putting the final bits and pieces together on the Wheel of Four Tunes web site. They came to us and asked for a site to use to promote their stage act, something simple that they themselves can administer and keep up to date. Lenssniper delivered a sully customisable solution and they are extremely happy with the results, as are we!
You can check the site out here
